At 7:12 on a rainy evening, Leo gets a text from an unknown number. It says, 'Look under the third bench.' He thinks it is a joke. Then another message arrives: 'You have ten minutes.'
Leo walks to the old park across the street. He counts the benches: one, two, three. Under the third bench is a small metal box. Inside, there is a photo of a girl holding a red kite and a piece of paper with one word: 'Remember.'
Leo knows the girl. She is his sister, Ella. They used to come to this park when they were children. She moved to another country five years ago, and today is her birthday.
His phone rings. It is Ella. 'Did you find it?' she asks. Leo laughs. 'How did you get that old number?' Ella says, 'I didn't. Dad sent the messages. He found our childhood box while cleaning the house.'
Leo looks at the photo again. He has almost forgotten the little red kite. Suddenly the rain does not seem so cold.
